Vagos Metal Fest 2026 Expands to Five Days of Pure Metal in Portugal

Vagos Metal Fest has revealed its most ambitious edition to date, announcing that the 2026 festival will expand to five full days of heavy music. Set to take place from August 5–9, 2026 in Vagos, Aveiro, Portugal, this year’s lineup is already shaping up to be historic.

Among the headliners are some of the most requested acts by the festival’s loyal audience. Lamb of God will make their long-awaited appearance, joined by symphonic metal giants Within Temptation, melodic death metal pioneers In Flames, and American hard rock heavyweights Godsmack.

The bill also features a devastating roster of extreme and modern metal: Heaven Shall Burn, Deicide, Combichrist, Holocausto Canibal, Filii Nigrantium Infernalium, Rainover, Rivetskull, and The Fall of Creation, with more bands still to be announced.

Festival organizers confirmed that the two extra days come at no additional cost for fans who already purchased tickets, making this edition of Vagos Metal Fest not only its biggest, but also one of the best-value gatherings in the European festival circuit.

Tickets are available now through Ticketline and authorized outlets.

With its steadily growing reputation, Vagos Metal Fest continues to cement its place as a cornerstone of the international metal calendar, turning the small Portuguese town of Vagos into the true Capital of Metal every summer.
