Bogotá Subterránea Fest 2025: The Underground Metal Ritual Returns Stronger Than Ever
Bogotá is about to become the epicenter of unrelenting darkness once again. On August 29 and 30, 2025, the Ace of Spades Club will host the second edition of Bogotá Subterránea Fest, a two-day gathering devoted entirely to the raw, uncompromising spirit of extreme underground metal. After its triumphant 2024 debut, the festival returns with a lineup that reads like a hymn to chaos, obscurity, and sonic violence.
This year’s bill summons an elite assembly of cult acts from across the globe. Possession (Belgium) will spread their blackened death contagion alongside the French black metal war machine Merrimack, the blasphemous bestial assault of Weregoat (USA), and the suffocating death metal darkness of Ensanguinate (Slovenia). The stage will also tremble under the onslaught of Rotting Grave (Mexico), Destroyer Attack (Ecuador), Sadistic Rot (Colombia), and Mortado (Colombia), ensuring the first night is an unbroken chain of sonic devastation.
On the second night, the madness escalates. Brazil’s The Laws Kill Destroy will channel the feral legacy of Sarcófago in an exclusive tribute, while the American cult Demoncy delivers their suffocating, otherworldly black metal. Canada’s Sorguinazia will conjure their spectral hymns, joined by South America’s bestial forces Morbosatan (Peru) and Black Hate (Mexico). The lineup grows even more venomous with Sepulkhral Baptism (Mexico), Kvlt of Eblis (Colombia), Torva (Colombia), and Imperial Doom (Colombia), cementing this edition as a true ceremonial blood pact between continents.
True to its ethos, Bogotá Subterránea Fest rejects trends, gimmicks, and commercial compromise. Here, there is no place for the casual listener; only for those who embrace the underground as a way of life. The sound will be raw, the atmosphere suffocating, and the energy unrelenting, echoing the glory days when metal was forged in sweat, danger, and absolute conviction.
Tickets are already available through Blackline-Tickets, with early-bird prices at 200,000 COP per day (combo for both days includes the official festival t-shirt). Prices will rise to 240,000 COP from June 1, and 280,000 COP at the door. Physical tickets can be found at Viuda Negra Music Store, Arckanum Store, and Blasting Records in Bogotá.
For two nights in August, Bogotá will not simply host a festival, it will become a fortress of sound, a temple to the underground, and a gathering place for the faithful who live and breathe extreme metal. This is not entertainment. This is a ritual.
