Pentagram (Chile) Brings 40 Years Of Darkness To The UK And Ireland

This July, the UK and Ireland will bear witness to the arrival of one of the most foundational names in South American extreme metal: Pentagram (Chile). Celebrating four decades of defiance and darkness, the Santiago-based pioneers are finally set to unleash their unrelenting sonic assault on British and Irish soil.

Founded in 1985 by guitarist and vocalist Anton Reisenegger, Pentagram forged the first true path for death and thrash metal in Latin America. Long before the genre had been formally baptized in the region, they were already channeling raw brutality through haunting riffs and primal speed, ultimately influencing generations of extreme music across the continent.

The tour marks a rare and historic occasion. After years of underground worship and cult status, the band is now poised to deliver a full-force live ritual with four confirmed shows: New Cross Inn in London, Suburbia in Southampton, Voodoo in Belfast, and Lost Lane in Dublin. Each date promises an intimate yet violent celebration of the band’s evolution, combining the chaos of their 80s demos with the sharper execution of more recent works like Evil Reborn and the 2024 release The Malefice.

Adding to the intensity of the bill are support acts Abaddon Incarnate, one of Ireland’s most respected grindcore institutions, and Devil’s Henchmen, a rising force in the UK underground. Together, they form a lineup designed not for nostalgia, but for the summoning of something far more primal.

Tickets are available now via Diablo Productions. For connoisseurs of raw and uncompromising metal, this is more than a tour. It is a rite of passage, an acknowledgment of lineage, and a long-awaited confrontation between legacy and audience.
