Black Templar Extreme Metal Fest III Approaches: September 13 in Almunia de San Juan, Spain

The countdown is on for one of the most anticipated extreme metal gatherings in Southern Europe. On September 13, the small town of Almunia de San Juan (Huesca, Spain) will once again become the epicenter of chaos and darkness as the Black Templar Extreme Metal Fest III – Open Air unfolds.

This year’s edition features an explosive lineup headlined by Austria’s infernal war machine Belphegor and Norway’s cult legends Carpathian Forest. But perhaps the most striking highlight for the underground scene is the arrival of two cult bands from Colombia, Nebiros and Dark Wisdom, marking their first ever appearance in Spain and Europe.

What makes this festival truly unique is its balance between legendary names and first-time appearances, ensuring an experience that spans the whole spectrum of black and extreme metal.

Last year’s second edition left a strong mark with two stages, a record fair, dedicated media presence, flawless logistics and the unmistakable spirit of underground communion. This year promises to raise the stakes even higher. The organizers have arranged bus tours from all major Spanish cities, as well as a camping area and full services for the comfort of attendees.

Throughout the day, fans will also enjoy a Record Fair and parallel activities, supported by a wide range of underground record labels and distros including Caixas Dos Mortos, Hate Couture, Show Canníbal, Global Help Records, Down With The Most High, Vela Negra, Mystic Art Productions, Karakol Dark, STEELONSTEEL, Vertebrae, Blackseed, Sewer Stench, A Fine Day To Die, and Sirius.
